The Fraunhofer EMFT conducts applied research into sensors and actuators for humans and the environment. The institute’s technology portfolio ranges from semiconductor processes and MEMS technologies to 3D integration and film electronics. These nano- and microtechnologies form the basis for the Fraunhofer EMFT’s other areas of expertise: sensor solutions, safe electronics and micropumps.
